Weather
Early October is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Washington, DC. Expect comfortable daytime temperatures in the upper 60s to mid-70s°F (20–24°C), with cooler evenings in the mid-50s°F (13°C). Light layers are recommended, along with a light jacket or sweater for evenings and air-conditioned meeting rooms.
Transportation & Getting Around
If traveling by air, you have three convenient airport options:
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) – Approximately 20 minutes from the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – Approximately 40–50 minutes away.
