Weather
October in St. Thomas offers warm tropical temperatures that are perfect for enjoying the beach before or after conference sessions. Expect daytime highs in the upper 80s°F (30–32°C) and evening temperatures in the upper 70s°F (25–27°C). Brief tropical showers are possible, but they are typically short-lived and followed by sunshine.
Transportation
Flight Information: Cyril E. King Airport (STT) is served by nonstop flights from several major U.S. cities. The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef is approximately a 15–20-minute taxi ride from the airport.
Taxis: Taxi service is readily available outside the airport terminal. Fares generally range from $20–$30 USD per person, depending on luggage and the number of passengers. Be sure to confirm your fare before departing.

Travel Requirements for the U.S. Virgin Islands
For U.S. citizens, traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands is easy—no passport is required.
Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID is required for air travel.
Currency: U.S. Dollar (USD).
Customs: No customs inspection is required upon arrival, though U.S. Customs screening occurs before returning to the mainland.
Travel Insurance: Consider purchasing travel insurance that includes medical coverage and trip-interruption protection.
