In early May, Marco Island enjoys warm, tropical weather, with daytime highs in the mid-80s°F and evening lows in the low 70s°F. It’s the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities or relax by the beach.
Transportation
The closest major airport is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), located approximately one hour from Marco Island.
Airport Shuttle: Naples Transportation & Tours is our preferred company for shuttles to/from the airport. To reserve, please visit their website dedicated to Symposia Medicus participants.
Renting a car is recommended for ease of travel.
Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft, as well as taxis, are available in the area; however, they can be unreliable for airport transportation.

Parking
Parking is discounted for our group at $30.00/day (daily/overnight) for both hotel guests and non-hotel guests.
Hotel Guests: Upon arrival, you will receive a car tag at the gate. When checking in, inform the front desk you have a car to receive the discounted rate. Parking charges will be added to your room.
Non-Hotel Guests: Please inform the parking attendant you are with the Symposia Medicus group when exiting to receive the discounted rate.
