Weather

Spring is one of the most comfortable times of year to visit Tulum. Expect warm, sunny days with relatively low humidity and minimal rainfall. Daytime temperatures typically reach the mid-80s°F (29-31°C), while evenings cool to the mid-60s to low-70s°F (18-22°C). Light, breathable clothing is recommended, along with a light layer for evenings or air-conditioned meeting rooms.

Transportation

Air Travel

Most attendees will arrive through one of the following airports:

Tulum International Airport (TQO): The closest airport, generally under an hour’s drive to the resort

Cancún International Airport (CUN): A major international hub with the widest selection of flights; transfers typically take 1.5–2 hours, depending on traffic

Cozumel International Airport (CZM): An option if combining travel with Cozumel, requiring a ferry crossing and ground transportation

Transportation note: From Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa to Tulum town or the hotel/beach zones, a one-way taxi ride typically costs approximately USD $30–$50, depending on distance, time of day, and traffic. Ride-share availability (such as Uber) can be limited or inconsistent in this area, making taxis the most reliable option. Confirm pricing with the driver before departing.

Return-trip tip: If dining in Tulum in the evening, it is recommended to arrange your return transportation in advance—either by asking the restaurant to call a taxi or coordinating a pickup time with your driver. Late-night taxi availability can be more limited, and pre-arranging your return helps avoid delays or higher after-hours pricing.

Reservations are strongly recommended during the busy spring travel season.
