Weather
November in Hilton Head Island brings comfortable, mild weather. Expect daytime highs in the mid‑60s to low 70s °F (18–22 °C) and cooler evenings in the mid‑50s °F (12–14 °C). Light layers are ideal, and a jacket for evenings or beach walks is recommended.
Transportation
Flight Information: Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) is the closest option, just 15 minutes from the resort. Flights into HHH are frequently much more expensive than those into Savannah. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is about 45 minutes away and offers a wider selection of direct flights.
Ground Transportation: Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are available from both airports. Rental cars are a convenient choice if you plan to explore the island.
Parking: Self-parking is complimentary at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. Valet parking is available for $25 per day.
Trolley to Coligny Plaza: The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island offers complimentary trolley service to Coligny Plaza, courtesy of Hilton Head Guest Services. Service operates daily from 10:00 AM to dusk, though trolley pick‑up times and availability are subject to change.
Pick‑ups are made at the resort’s main entrance. Because this service is not operated by the resort itself, some delays may occur—guests are encouraged to check with Guest Services or call ahead at 843‑816‑5145 for the current route schedule.
