In April, Kauai enjoys warm, tropical weather—perfect for beach time, island exploration, and downtime between sessions. Daytime temperatures generally range from the mid-70s to low-80s °F (24–28 °C), while evenings cool into the mid-60s to low-70s °F (18–22 °C). Occasional brief showers add to the island’s lush beauty.

Transportation
Getting Here
The most convenient way to reach Kauai is by flying into Lihue Airport (LIH), located just minutes from the Royal Sonesta Kauai Resort.

The Royal Sonesta Kauai Resort offers a complimentary shuttle service from Lihue Airport to the resort. Simply call the resort at (808) 245-5050 to request a pickup upon your arrival.
Getting Around

Parking – Hotel Guests
Self-Parking: $20/day (plus tax). Be sure to inform the front desk clerk that you have a car and request a parking permit.
Valet Parking: $40/day (plus tax) per day, with in/out privileges.
Parking – Non-Hotel Guests
Self-Parking: Complimentary, as long as the car is not left overnight.
Valet Parking: $10 per day with in/out privileges, as long as the car is not left overnight.
