Weather
In early September, Sedona enjoys warm, sunny days with average highs in the mid to upper 80s°F (29–31°C) and cooler evenings in the mid-50s to low 60s°F (13–16°C). Pack light, breathable clothing for the daytime and a light sweater or jacket for the evenings and meeting rooms.
Transportation
The closest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), approximately a 2-hour scenic drive from Sedona.
A regional alternative is Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG), about 45 minutes north of Sedona, offering limited commercial flights via American Eagle (typically to Phoenix and Denver).
Renting a car is highly recommended regardless of arrival airport, as public transportation in Sedona is limited.
