Flight Information
Cyril E. King Airport (STT) is the main gateway to St. Thomas, offering direct flights from various major cities in the U.S. The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef is a short 15-20 minute drive from the airport.
Taxis
Taxi services are readily available at Cyril E. King Airport. Typical fares to the resort range from $22 to $30 USD, depending on number of persons and luggage. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Travel Requirements for U.S. Virgin Islands
For U.S. citizens, no passport is required to enter the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, it is recommended to carry a government-issued ID. Please note the following guidelines:
- Identification: A valid driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID is required for air travel.
- Customs: While not necessary for U.S. citizens, be aware that certain items may be subject to customs regulations if bringing goods back to the mainland.
- Health and Safety: It is advisable to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. Local healthcare facilities are available, but more serious cases may require evacuation to the U.S. mainland.
- Customs Clearance: U.S. citizens do not clear immigration or customs upon arrival into the Virgin Islands, but will clear customs at Cyril E. King Airport upon departing back to the mainland.

Currency
The local currency is the U.S. Dollar (USD). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s recommended to carry some cash for small purchases or tips. ATMs are available at the airport and the resort.
Weather
November in St. Thomas enjoys warm, tropical weather, perfect for conference sessions and beachside relaxation. Expect daytime temperatures to range from the mid-80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (29-32°C) with pleasant evening temperatures in the mid-70s Fahrenheit (24-26°C). Occasional showers are possible, but the overall weather is ideal for outdoor activities.
